I liked this book. Yes, designs are more open and simple than other quilling that I have seen, and I can see advanced quillers might be disappointed. But, I think it takes skill to create simple yet engaging designs, and I think the author has done that here. I found the instruction to be clear, and the photos nicely done. This book has exposed me to another style or approach to quilling and I consider this book another "tool in my toolbox" to help me along my quilling journey.
Im not impressed or satisfied with this book at all!!If I had know what kind of designs were in this book I would not have bought it. It isn't true quilled work it's more just outlining with a little work inside. Not what I will ever use. It doesn't show what's in the book so you don't know until you order it. They should show at least one picture to show what's inside the book.
Lovely book , in color. And while I generally would not use some of the themed celebration ideas for personal reasons I find the suggestions and design tips very helpful. I am not a beginner Quiller but more like an intermediate I also find this writer to be very practical and helpful. She has a great YouTube channel called "Paper Zen" I would give it 5 âï¸S if I could. She has given me a lot of great instruction in that venue and I see the purchase of her book as a way to show appreciation for all the dedication she shows to teach other on her channel. Check it out and buy this book.
These patterns are very simplistic in appearance, yet the instructions are complex. I am a skilled quiller and this is way below what I typically create. Had I been able to see inside the book, I would never have ordered it.
I bought this for a gift and she loved it. I took a look through before I gave it away and there are lots of super cute ideas and step by step techniques
LOVE it! Cecelia's book is so clear and crisp. I wish i started my quilling journey with her book. This is a def must for those starting out in quilling. She has simple and more detailed designs where she gives you pictures showing every piece that goes into the quilling. Awesome book!
I love this book. The beautiful designs are so unique and the instructions are very clear. I can't wait to start. I plan to make every card in the book as they are all so pretty. I am very happy with purchase.
This is a rather large book, 127 pages, filled with ideas! It is different than other quilling books, because it gives "actual-size cutting guides" rather than the size in inches. The instructions are clear & precise. I am happy to add it to my "quilling" library!
