I started reading the Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat for Binge Eating last night and finished it this morning. I cried, I laughed, I become angry, and now I'm excited. It's as if the book was describing my life. I want to stand on top of the tallest building I can find and yell at the world: I TOLD YOU SO! Dr. May's first book (Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat) started the change in my life to be in charge of my food. Ms. Anderson's work is going to help me be in charge of my life. The work they are both doing in this area is so vitally important for helping the millions of people who struggle with binge eating. I've come a long way in the past three years on my own, but the techniques presented in this book are what I need to help me work through the rest of my challenges. Thank you both, from the bottom of my soul!

I have to say that I very rarely write book reviews, but I had to stop and write one for this particular book. It is an extremely eye opening, well written, and effective book on the subject. I have shared it with several people in my life and it has been life changing for every single person. If you are looking for methods to aid with Binge Eating this is a great resource for you. The authors are very relatable, the methods are effective, the stories reveal the hidden aspects of binge eating.

This book is a true lifesaver. I bought both the digital and the hardcopy because I carried it with me everywhere and kept misplacing it from referencing it so much. I brought it with me because it is a fantastic reference when I get stressed out and want to solve my problems by eating. I never realized how much my overeating was tied up in my emotions and how I turned to food like an addiction. At one time in my life I ate when I was hungry, but after overeating when I was pregnant, I started on the diet roller coaster when the weight didn't come off fast enough. I never could stick with anything for long and eventually I couldn't do any diet without completely bingeing, after only a few short days. What this book teaches is not easy, it is work, but it will teach you to get in touch with the feelings and start eating more mindfully and with more awareness as to why you are doing what you do. It isn't a quick fix by any means but I feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel, I no longer hate myself for what I am putting in my mouth on a daily basis. When rough situations strike I don't immediately start bingeing into oblivion, I actually am starting to recognize what I am doing and make a choice. This book has so much information packed into it that it takes daily reading just to start understanding and implementing all of it. I journal to go along with it daily and I find that if I stop that, and the daily readings, I start slipping back into old behaviors. This book truly can save your life if you are caught up in the "overeat, hate yourself the next day" cycle. Learn how to gain back your self esteem and quit hating yourself as you start on a true recovery from your food addiction.

You're not alone in this silent battle. You're feelings are real, and they deserve to be acknowledged so you can begin your road to recovery to becoming a new, whole you from the inside out.

I really enjoyed the book. It was an easy ready and had some tips that I have encorporated into my daily life.

Even though I am not technically a "binge" eater this book contained a lot of valuable information. A great companion to the Eat What You Love series.

I truly enjoyed and benefited from each concept presented here. May brings intellectual evidence to us in a package that speaks to our souls as well
